terminator

Standard

thin line of night,
edge of living light,
inevitable
as God’s mighty hand,
wipes clean
this dirty slate
to begin again
a clear, new day.

  1. A great thought is buried in the idea that each new days is a new day wiped clean of all the problems, troubles, sadness, joys, and other tribulations of the day now gone. What is good about this Steven is how condensed it is both in language and meaning, allowing the reader to feel as well as understand what the poem has to say.
